Global warming is now a hot topic to be discussed. Everywhere people started discussing this problem and looking for a solution. The situation is getting worse. The air we breathe every day contains more and more foreign substances caused by many sources.

There are many causes of polluted air, one of which is human activities. More and more motorized vehicles, factories, and industries that not only emit dirty smoke but are also toxic because they contain chemicals that continue to attack our blue skies.

If it continues to grow, it will endanger our health, humans, animals, and plants. It may threaten our lives. Due to air pollution, many new germs in the form of previously unknown viruses, have emerged and have strong defenses, and undermine our immunity.

Now we feel the seasons are not clear, the climate is changing with uncertain weather conditions. Maybe this is partly due to air pollution. The number of motorized vehicles that emit carbon dioxide gas will gradually make the ozone layer thinner. No wonder our earth is getting hotter.

Not to mention the large factories and industries that emit a lot of black smoke every day. Then, the more the greenhouse effect, the more hot our air is today.

Effects of Air Pollution on Health

Of course, we will feel the consequences of air pollution. Especially the effect on our health. In addition to feeling the air that is not good because of the heat and dryness, the health impact that many feel is the disruption of the respiratory tract. As a result, many suffer from asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory disorders.

How come? Every day we breathe air to breathe, while the air we breathe has become dirty because it is polluted. Likewise with other living things, such as animals and plants will be disrupted their survival.

Many high-rise buildings, office buildings, apartments, and housing estates have changed the function of a lot of lands that should be overgrown with plants. This makes the production of oxygen gas less and less. Not to mention the forests that are being cut down for building needs. At this rate, who will give us oxygen?

Some people are busy anticipating this air pollution, some are busy polluting it. Remember, there are many generations we need to worry about. Our children will be affected, their growth may be disrupted.

So, do not be surprised if later there will be many children who suffer from anemia. Many children who experience disturbances in thinking, their IQ will decrease. It's all because of the too much dirty air they breathe.

Tips to Avoid Air Pollution

To avoid the spread of air pollution, there are things we must do. Including the following.

• Use public transportation, to reduce the number of people who use vehicles, so that carbon dioxide will be reduced.

• Decorate the yard around your house with lots of plants, to help oxygen production.

• Take care of your health by eating healthy and exercising, so you are not easily exposed to airborne viruses.

That is an article about Effects of Air Pollution on Health. Hopefully, it will make us more careful to our environment.
