The Secret Behind Human Fingerprints - Fingerprints are personal identities that no one can match. If in this world there are 6 billion people, then there are 6 billion fingerprint patterns that exist and no one who has the same fingerprints has been found yet.
Because of this uniqueness, fingerprints are used by the police in investigating a criminal case (forensics). That's why when a crime occurs, the crime scene will be cleared up and it is prohibited for anyone to enter because it is feared that it will damage the criminals' fingerprints that may be left in the evidence at the crime scene.
The traits or characteristics possessed by fingerprints are the perennial nature, namely the strokes on the fingerprints that are inherent in humans for life, immutability which means that a person's fingerprint will never change unless a condition occurs, namely a serious accident that changes the fingerprint pattern.
Existing fingers and individuality, which means the uniqueness of fingerprints, is the originality of its owner that cannot be the same as anyone on this earth even in identical twins.
The science that studies fingerprints is Dactyloscopy which comes from Greek, namely dactyls which means fingers or fingers, and scope which means observing.
Uniquely, fingerprints can also be used as a guide to identifying someone's potential, so we can find out our talents or potential so that we can accommodate our potential for what type of work is most suitable for our talents.
The method of identification can be done in plain view with people who are experts in their fields, or some use a special fingerprint reader (fingerprint reader) which is connected to a special software computer which then analyzes it based on the points that become a reference.
What can be identified is about a person's logical control, reflexes, and brain development. Regarding the shape and pattern of the fingerprint, which consists of the three types above, it has distinctive characteristics, namely:
Whorl (circular), which is the main shape of the fingerprint, has 2 deltas and at least one circular line in the pattern area, runs in front of the two deltas. Types of whorl consist of Plain whorl, Central pocket loop whorl, Double loop whorl, and Accidental whorl.
Loop is a basic form of fingerprints where one or more lines come from one side of the painting, slope, touch or cross an imaginary line drawn between the delta and core, stop or tend to stop towards the original side.
An arch is a basic form of fingerprints in which all the lines come from one side of the painting, flowing or tending to flow to the other side of the painting, waving up the middle.
