If the direction and the distance are acquired, the counter attack may be very easy. Now a device has been invented by the U.S. The soldiers who are fighting in Afghanistan are using this device nowadays. The device contains a weight of two pounds only, so it may be kept on the shoulder easily.

This device consists of a sensor and a screen. When anyone fires nearby, the device detects within no time that from which direction the bullet has come and the distance from which the shot has been fired.

The scientists of the U.S have produced a new kind of glass fibrous material that is just like cotton candy, to which children eat favorably. It makes a resistance against the blood clots, thus providing healing. 

This material is prepared from cheap glass, so it comes economical. It is surprisingly absorbed in the human body, so the need of any bandage is not necessary. In the big clinics, the experiments on this product are going on and it will be marketed soon.

Seawater As Battery Charger

When you come to know about this fact you will be stunned that scientists of Stanford have created such batteries which can be energized by seawater. These batteries consist of newly designed electrodes made of nanoscale made of silver and manganese dioxide. 

Their combination gives an incredible outcome, that hundred times increase in surface area. The charging takes place that these electrodes are kept in fresh and salt water to generate electrical power.

The method is adopted in this way, charge the battery in fresh water then replace it and dip it in salt water. Hundred time increase in ions takes place and the battery discharges at a greater voltage and produces electricity. The cycle which is made is then repeated.

It is suggested that by the installation of such a power plant at a location where a river throws its water into the sea, it can produce 100 megawatts of electricity, if 50 cubic meters/ second of fresh is passing. This energy is supposed to be sufficient for 100000 houses.

A power plant for this purpose will be designed in a Norwegian country on osmosis basis. The principle of osmosis is based on this theory that a special membrane has salt water on one side and fresh water on the other side. Then the membrane acts as a one way valve. The water passes through the membrane from the fresh water side to salt water side.

With this practice the increase in the pressure of the section of salt solution, which can be used to motivate a turbine to produce electrical energy. The usage of sea salt water for generating electrical power is highly recommended for the near future.
